The Process

Four visits from mold to mirror finish.

01

Consultation

Sit down with a licensed dentist. We look at your bite, talk karat, count teeth, set the budget.

02

Dental Impression

A dental-grade mold — not a mail-order putty kit. This is why our sets don't rock, slip, or cut gums.

03

Casting & Setting

Poured in solid gold in our lab, hand-finished, and stone-set by our bench jeweler if you're going iced.

04

The Fitting

You come back, we seat it, adjust it, polish it, and hand you a case. Lifetime re-polish included.

Dental Grills Cost · Ventura County

How much do dental grills cost?

The ranges below reflect the current Los Angeles and Ventura County market — Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo and the Conejo Valley — for solid karat gold fitted by a licensed dentist. Gold trades near record highs, so these numbers move with the daily metal price, your karat and how much gold your teeth actually take. Treat every figure as an approximate range, not a quote.

These sit above the $70-a-tooth grillz you see online for a reason. Every piece here starts with a dental-grade impression taken chairside by a licensed dentist, and is cast in solid 10k–18k gold with no plating and hand finishing — not a mail-in putty kit poured over a warped mold.

Diamond ranges above cover natural stones, hand set one at a time. Cubic zirconia and lab-stone “iced out” sets sold online are a different product at a different price, and we will tell you plainly which one you are looking at.

Estimates only. Prices are not final and are shown to give you a realistic idea of the local market — your exact investment is confirmed in writing after your impression appointment with our licensed dentist. Payment plans and financing are available.

Word of Mouth

Had two sets before this from a mall kiosk. Both rocked. This one seats like it grew there.

Questions

Straight answers.

Custom gold grills in Ventura County and Los Angeles generally run around $250 to $850 for a single tooth, around $900 to $3,400 for six teeth, and around $1,600 to $6,000 for a full set in solid 10k–18k gold. Natural diamond work starts higher and can pass $15,000. These are estimates only — gold trades near record highs, and weight, karat and design all change the number, so we confirm your figure in writing after your impression.

Dental Grills Lab serves the whole of Ventura County, with dedicated appointments for Oxnard, Ventura, Port Hueneme, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks and Santa Paula. Every impression and fitting is done chairside by a licensed dentist — no mail-in kits.

Yes, when it's made and fitted by a dentist. Ours are cast from a precise impression so nothing traps food against enamel. We remove them for sleeping and eating, and we check your gums at every follow-up.

We ask you to take it out to eat. Liquids are fine in moderation, but food particles under any grill are what cause decay — that's the one rule we don't bend on.

Warm water, a soft brush, and non-abrasive soap after each wear. Skip toothpaste on diamond settings. Bring it in any time and we'll re-polish it free.

Solid gold sets are typically 5–7 days from impression. Diamond pavé work runs 2–3 weeks because every stone is hand-set.

Crowns and gaps are no issue — we design around them. Active braces need to come off first; book a consult and we'll map out timing.

Decades. Gold doesn't tarnish. Most wear shows up as small polish marks, which we buff out for free for as long as you own the piece.
